Can't get enough of these two and their first look moment
What a remarkable opportunity it was for me to produce Kaitlyn + Danny's modern Milwaukee wedding last March.
Kaitlyn's cousins are my cousins...and I grew up playing dress-up with her, and pulling pranks during Thanksgiving dinner. She and I have been in each other's lives since toddlerhood. So, you can imagine how honored I was when Kaitlyn got engaged, and reached out for support.
There are 56,450 things that I love about Kaitlyn. But one, glaring trait is that she's strong-willed. She can run a show, folks! Perhaps to her, this translates as being a 'control freak,' but to me she's genuine, self-assured and direct. Many characteristics I love in my clients.
With that being said, Kaitlyn and Danny had a very clear, modern + romantic vision for their wedding at Vista on Old World Third. An emphasis on the classic black and white, paired with wintergreen accents and chic designs.
The thoughtful details were a'plenty for this wedding. In addition to their stationery suite that had so much dimension, Kaitlyn + Danny had a French-inspired dessert display, modern mesh ceremony backdrop (that they very expertly DIY'd), and pull-tab favors...to name a few.
Yes, I said pull-tab wedding favors. So Wisconsin-ly cool.
Outside of having a familial connection to this alluring bride, other highlights of their winter wedding were: Kaitlyn's über stylish wedding gown from Strike Bridal Bar, Danny's reaction during their first look, and all those disco balls (y'all know me).
