It's still green at the Ivy House in November

Nick + Olivia's winter wedding in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Nick and Olivia met in college - almost 11 years ago! Like many planning couples, they were originally slated to get married in April 2021. COVID was raging on, and stressfully nudged them to postpone further into the year.

In a few months time, these two moved their wedding date, and moved across the country to start new jobs in Boston.

In between her medical residency training, Liv and I would hop on planning calls to button up their wedding arrangements. She really loved the greens of Ivy House, and hoped to build upon it with whimsical foliage and a mild bohemian touch.

November has always been a significant month for Olivia's family, but this blissful day ended up being icing on the cake.

Wedding morning was spent moseying around, getting ready with Stone Creek Coffee and Allie Boy’s Bagelry. The fellas got ready in the I SPY DIY Sage Home in Walker's Point - I love this space for supplementary getting ready hangs for Ivy House weddings.

It wasn't until pinning on his boutonnière that I finally met Nick in person! Just the warmest people with the warmest families. I loved getting to know Olivia's sisters, too; and trying like hell to absorb their kinship charms.

Before introducing the wonderful vendor team that worked together on this wedding, I have a specific shout-out to Kaley Rae Photography. Kaley, you miss nothing. You shine bright, make me laugh, and have the bestest-est eye for lovely moments. Working with you was a pleasure.
