Glam winter wedding at Plant No. 4

Boho winter wedding in Milwaukee

Whoa, Mama - what a journey for these two! Emily and Steve had been engaged for just under three years. Thanks to Covid, they had to make the difficult decision to postpone their December 2020 wedding to December 2021.

As to be expected, during that long timespan they experienced many different things. Their wedding aesthetic and design evolved, just as they did throughout that time.

We happily refocused on all things weddings right after the summer, and sharped the conversations around design and the wedding day experience. All roads lead to one thing with these two: a party.

The more time that had passed, the more they wanted to emphasize fun: with family, friends, great music, lots of drinks + delicious, comfort foods. Truly a festive occasion - a sassy soiree with nods to their favorite things.

And what a day it was - a celebration from beginning to end. Even though it was a chilly show outside, everyone was giddy from the moment they woke up, until bar close (and even during the secret after party).

Emily loves a little drama - a little glam, and all of that looked so good against the wintry Milwaukee cityscape! You'll see tons of dried palm, sequins, fur and two of the most adorable, smushy faces around (and the bride + groom, obv)! It was all that 'n then some...with LOVE ON TOP. Now all the photos are in FORMATION, here's Emily + Steve's CRAZY IN LOVE winter wedding. XO
