Nora + Matt's intimate wedding in Ephraim, Wisconsin
These two wildly intelligent love birds had to pivot their original Summer 2020 wedding plans because of COVID. Nora reached out to me in June looking for some last minute assistance.
With a lot of their vendors already booked, they just needed help with acute details and, ultimately, the location of their pivoted micro wedding of 12 guests. After talking through some smaller venues in Milwaukee, I encouraged Nora to think about any place with meaning, or that holds special value to them as a couple.
And then Nora said her parents have a house in Door County. Boom.
Planning took off from there! With a lovely design foundation already laid from Nora's work with Milwaukee Flower Co., we were just left to fill in the pieces and finalize logistics.
What a phenomenal day this turned into, you guys. Stunning, lovely + meaningful from start to finish. After stopping at Sally's flower farm + studio to pick up the floral, I drove up to Ephraim with my brother, Zach, that morning.
We set the ceremony up in a meadow on the property, and laid a reception tablescape on the back porch. Local cherries may have been popped in for good measure.
