Mariah and Lane are truly two of the most incredible people that I've ever met.
Here's Mariah telling me, during our initial consultation, how she + Lane met:
We met in college at Washington University in St. Louis. We were on the same freshman floor AND the same major - we met, became friends, and started dating pretty quickly after that! We dated throughout college and have been moving around for work and living together since graduation 3 years ago. We will have been together for 7 years in December and have lived in St. Louis (for college), Knoxville, TN, Philadelphia, PA, and now Madison, WI together!
We planned for 15 months before their fall wedding in Madison, Wisc. Not to mention the hours + days that Mariah + her family spent on authentic DIY projects for the day.
And you would not believe all of the love in the Assembly Room at the State Capital during their wedding ceremony. There was nothing but support + warmth coming off of the families of these two newlyweds. I was completely in awe. And am still very much an advocate of love like this.
Here's the dynamic team from Mariah + Lane's wedding:

ALL OF THIS STATIONERY IS DIY. Whaaaaaat?!
Just a quick preface - please notice all of the acute, subliminal, lovely AF snaps that Chelsea captures when she's working. Her eye for 'moments' is beyond.
Wedding dress + bridesmaids dresses from BHLDN
Lane + his studly groomsmen against that blue house - YES
The bride, Mariah, made these rad, handmade gifts for her bridesmaids. Check her business out: Madtown Creative.
OK, brace yourself for this first look-
Here's Chelsea. My colleague and best friend. I won't be über professional here, and say I love this woman. She is the rawest, truest, kindest soul around. My role model, professionally + beyond. Here she is, getting the shots.
DIY hand-dyed napkins for the reception were a personal fave.
